OS×Cookie Policy

The cookies and local storage OS x uses — and the many it does not.
Overview
OS x uses only what it needs to sign you in and remember a couple of interface preferences. We do not use advertising, analytics, or cross-site tracking cookies.
Strictly necessary cookies
We set authentication and session cookies (via our auth provider, Supabase) so you can sign in and stay signed in securely. These are required for the Service to function and cannot be disabled while you are using it.
Local-storage preferences
We store a small number of interface preferences in your browser’s local storage — for example, whether the navigation rail is pinned open, and which notifications you have already seen. These never leave your device and are not used to track you.
No advertising or tracking
We do not run advertising networks, third-party analytics trackers, or cross-site cookies on the Service. Operational subprocessors (such as our host) may set their own strictly necessary cookies as part of delivering the Service.
Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, but blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle data generally.
Changes
We may update this policy if our use of cookies changes; material changes will be communicated through the Service.
