Terms of Service

Effective June 3, 2026

Draft template. This document is a starting point pending review by the operator’s legal counsel. It is provided for convenience and is not legal advice.

The agreement governing your access to and use of OS x.

Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account, accepting an invitation, or otherwise using OS x (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, the organization you represent. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for activity under your account, and for keeping your credentials secure. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

The Service

OS x is a multi-tenant operating system whose modules (documents, scheduling, meetings, tracking, finance/operations, an AI assistant, and administration) are enabled per organization. Features available to you depend on your organization’s plan and the modules it has enabled, and may change over time.

Your content and data

You retain all rights to the data, files, and documents you and your organization submit to the Service (“Customer Content”). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and transmit Customer Content solely to provide and support the Service.

Your organization’s administrators control roles and access within your organization. Data is isolated per organization; see the Privacy Policy for how isolation and retention work.

Acceptable use

Your use of the Service is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference. You are responsible for ensuring everyone in your organization complies with it.

AI features

Certain features use third-party AI models (Anthropic’s Claude) to generate suggestions, summaries, and answers. AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete; it is provided as assistance only, is not professional advice, and you are responsible for reviewing it before relying on or acting on it.

Where your organization supplies its own Anthropic API key, AI requests are processed under your organization’s own agreement with Anthropic. Your use of the AI features must comply with Anthropic’s Usage Policy. The AI is a suggester and never edits protected legal sections of your documents on its own.

Subscriptions, fees, and billing

Paid plans are billed through our payment processor (Stripe) on a recurring basis until canceled. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing on notice; changes apply to the next billing period. Failure to pay may result in suspension or downgrade after a grace period.

Termination and suspension

You may stop using the Service at any time; your organization’s owner controls its subscription. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, for non-payment, or where required to protect the Service or other customers. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; export your data before your account closes.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that AI output will be accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amounts paid by your organization for the Service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email. Continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION TO BE SET BY THE OPERATOR], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. [Dispute-resolution and venue terms to be completed by counsel.]
